No More Heroes 2 - meet Henry - Travis’s Brother is now playable
Well this is a surprise. Henry seemed like a pretty cool character in No More Heroes. I’m curious how this will tie into the story given Sylvia is Henry’s Wife, and his brother spent the entire first game killing people to sleep with her. In any case this Hardcore title for the Wii should hit all the trademarks the Tarintino of Gaming (Suda 51) has been known for.
Infinity Ward responds to Modern Warfare 2 PC Fans lack of Dedicated Server support petition.
I’m still dumbfounded from the instant backlash against Infinity Ward for cutting Dedicated Server support. I can understand the arrguments for why this could be a bad move, but these people have gotten out of hand making physical threats again…st the developers. These people need to calm down and wait for Infinity Ward to fully reveal how IW.net works. Dedicated server support is something they can add down the line if IW.net doesn’t pan out, PC Gamers need to have a little faith in the comapny whose inovation created such a great product in the first place.

This vid is from the Blazblue release party/BBQ on Saturday. It was a pretty cool kick back event set up by the North American publisher Aksys Games. It was a small event around 100 people or so. I saw a few players I knew from Arcade Infinity and other fighting game events.
I’m so excited for this game, I’ve been hyped for it since the first trailer in 2007. I’m trying to convert all the naysayers who think Street Fighter IV is the best fighting game this year. I thought it was gonna be King of Fighters XII myself, but I think Blazblue is gonna take the crown in my book.
No More Heroes is my favorite game for the Wii. Suda 51 makes such strange yet, thrilling games and No More Heroes 2 Desperate Struggle looks like it will continue the fun.
The first official King of Fighters XII tournament will be going down in L.A. this Saturday. I’ll be competing and I’ll be filming and taking pictures specifically for this blog. With this and E3 on the horizon you are gonna see a whole bunch of new content on QCP
I've found an easy way to tell if a person has ever seriously played video games or not.
If they use the definite article “The” before describing the game or console they play,its a 99.8% chance they don’t really play games.
For example, here is a gamer and non-gamer response to the question what Games do you play.
Non Gamer Response
“Oh I play the Tennis and the Wii, I really wanna play the Yoga game too I’d think I’d be good at that”
Gamer response
“Oh I play Wii Sports, Tennis is my favorite game in Wii Sports. I really would like to play the Yoga games in Wii Fit. I’d think I’d be good at that.
Non-Gamer Response Old Person
Oh I’ve played the Pong. Thats a video game right. I also love Solitaire and the Minesweeper.
WTF is this? That ladies and gentlemen is a King of Fighters Shoot em Up. You heard right an Ikaruga style shooter featuring characters King of Fighters.
How this came to be is anyone’s guess. If this were a doujin game it wouldn’t be that strange. I’ve seen several doujin titles turning popular anime and game characters it shooters, but this is an actual company published title. The fact thy have a new KOF logo for it is proof enough

So why is SNK doing this? My guess is two reasons,
1 - They need an Xbox Live title that isn’t a Neo Geo Port
2 - They need some strange hype for KOF XII
SNK has always had odd business stratigies, so I;’m curious as to how they will make this work. I also wonder how they are going to explain why everyone can fly now like Dragonball Z.
Feel free to express your opinions on this strange project. For all we know this could turn out to be an excellent shooter, but at the moment all signs point to this game being meh.

The base special move for every shoto and protagonist character in 2d fighting games is almost always a quarter circle punch projectile move. So it seemed like a no-brainer to name my blog after this. On this blog I’ll talk primarily about 2d fighting games and Anime currently or recently on air in Japan. I’ll also discuss 3-d fighting games, many other video games, a little bit of music, pop culture, or whatever else I feel like ranting about that day.
